I was cited in the article “Can we find hackers by the clues they leave in their code?” by Sarah Scoles. Sarah was amazing and I was thrilled to be able to speak with her about a topic I care so much about.

My final piece with the Center for Security, Innovation, and New Technology was titled “The Evolution of Cyber Attribution” which included an overarching review of cyber attribution focusing on the space within the United States. I was lucky enough to interview Dr. Emily Goldman and JD Work for this piece.

While with the Center for Security, Innovation, and New Technology, I wrote a book review on Max Smeet’s book “No Shortcuts: Why States Struggle to Develop a Military Cyber-Force”.

I published a piece titled “On Ransomware” with the Journal of International Service. This policy brief is a summary of what ransomware is, challenges surrounding it, and recommendations I made to Congress in November 2021.

At the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I published a paper with the Illini Journal of International Security titled “In Support of an Independent Kurdistan”. This paper discussed the history of the Kurdish region and recommendations for the United States to support an independent Kurdish state.
